Nominations Now Open! RUN FOR 2009-2010 BOARD POSITIONS!
Submit to become an Executive Committee Officer or Branch Director for 2009-2010! Current Branch Directors and the Executive Committee will be reviewing self-nominations and making selections in the coming weeks. Fill out the Self-Nomination Form and email it to egb@usgbc-in.org. Run for any of these positions:

EGB Indiana Chair - The Chair shall represent the Chapter on the USGBC Indiana Board of Directors and be responsible for the general operation of the Chapter and the Board.

Advocacy Chair - The Advocacy Chair shall be responsible for making strides toward raising awareness around the state about the EGB; organizing and speaking at events in support of EGB; developing strategies, tactics and materials in support of EGB pursuits.

Communications Chair - The Communications Chair shall be responsible for maintaining the EGB pages and sections of the USGBC Indiana website and monthly newsletter.

Programs Chair - The Programs Chair shall reside on the USGBC Indiana General Circle and be responsible for coordinating regular EGB Indianapolis programs. They shall also provide program guidance to the other EGB Indiana branches.

Secretary - The Secretary shall be responsible for handling, managing, coordinating all administrative duties for the Chapter. The Secretary should maintain the most current list of members and record meeting minutes for all meetings of the general membership and Executive Committee.
- Treasurer - The duties of the Treasurer may be carried by any member of the Executive Committee. The Treasurer shall be responsible for budgeting and the handling of all monies related to Chapter and Board activities.
Branch Directors: Directors serve the local Branches of the Chapter. Directors are responsible for coordinating meeting time, place, notification, and agenda.

USGBC Indiana encourages all students and new professionals to take a role in the leadership of the green design movement in Indiana by joining or forming an Emerging Green Builders group. Whether you are studying design or just started working in construction, you are our future, and USGBC and USGBC Indiana offer you resources to help you express your passion and stake your claim. Who We Are
Emerging Green Builders are students and young professionals dedicated to becoming and recruiting the future leaders of the green building movement. EGB Indiana, part of the Heartland Region, offers you the opportunity to get involved in green building locally, access USGBC resources, and particiate in local events.
How Do I Join?
Join EGB for FREE in 2009! As a way to get our new chapter off the ground, EGB Indiana will not collect membership dues in its first year! Joining means being active. Being active means go to your local branch meetings!
